Bold Zendala: Warm Lotus on Cool Water explores the play between dramatic and simple Zentangle® patterns and the juxtaposition of these with bright cool and warm colors to create a unique, bold Zendala all in a setting of meditative creativity.

Explore mandalas and color with this creative and fun experience. The class project will be a single Zendala, chock-full of lovely color created with Tombow water-based markers. With your learning in this class, you should be ready to embark on many more meditative times and produce countless beautiful Zendalas all your own.

Explore mandalas and color with this creative and fun project with Danielle DeRome, CZT. The class project with be chock-full of lovely color created with Tombow water based markers!

Danielle DeRome

Danielle has been arting and teaching ”forever!” She started life in California, but grew up in Barcelona where she trained in ceramics and enamel on copper at the Escola Massana. Later, she got “serious degrees” - a B.S. and an M.S. in Environmental and Systematic Biology at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Through all that, she always had at least one foot in the classroom and another in some art project. Her Zentangle class proposals reflect her love of messy art play, dingbatty tangles, world travel, and the outdoors.
